Beltane is all about celebrating the end of winter and entering into the full growing season. It will be a great time on the farm seeing the field and woods waking up, many plants in flower and the gardens being prepped to plant!
After our events we will get the fires going and you are more than welcome to hang out and drink some fantastic Mead & Cider, chat with your new friends or just stare into the fire!
If its a clear night, star gazing at our farm is fantastic as we have very little light pollution and if you walk a few feet away from the fire you will be engulfed in the vastness of the sky!
FAQ
Is the event free?
The event is free, we will be selling Food & Alcohol
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely!
Why isn’t this on May 1st like most people do?
If you go back to the roots of Beltane, it was a cross quarter day that was between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, the exact date changes every year and this year it would fall on May 19 at 11:29PM. Since our alcohol permit isn’t valid on Sundays we are celebrating it on May 18th!
